Our Trip Part 1:

** I decided I can't blog with out pictures, it just makes things more interesting. I lost my camera at Disneyland and along with it all of the pictures from the first half of our trip, so I will try to find appropriate photos to fill in the gaps...**

We started out our big adventure by going to my Mom's house in Spokane, Washington for Thanksgiving.

We had a very yummy Thanksgiving dinner and got to do a little Black Friday shopping too.

(I am a whimp though we hit a few sales that started Thursday night and then went out Friday afternoon after the crowds had died down a bit.) We left Saturday and headed down to Idaho Falls where we stayed with my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Clarke. We always have a great time with them and got a great night sleep!

We then headed down to Utah where we visited with my Dad, and my Grandma and Grandpa Singley. It was so nice to see them and spend some time with them. We stayed with the Stouts for 2 nights to recover a bit and visit. He is one of Wes' mission companions and his family is so great we loved our visit with them and miss them lots! We left for Vegas and stopped to look at a car which Wes bought, of course.

We then stopped at my friend Amanda's house in Provo and had a great visit. She is one of those people that I can go years with out talking to and just pick right back up where we left off. Her little girl is absolutely adorable. We then drove to Vegas in two separate cars, I of course got to ride with Lauren. We watched Tinker Bell and lots of Mickey Mouse clubhouse. We stayed at my Grandparents house in town for a night or two and then headed out to California. We met up with Wes' uncle and his family at Disneyland. We spent 2 days there and I lost my camera on the first day, second ride. Lucky for me Carlee had her camera and got a few pictures of Lauren...

Lauren's favorite ride was probably Dumbo, she did really well on all the rides we took her on. She even went on the roller coaster in toon-town. She loved seeing Michey and Minnie. We ate at Blue Bayou for Taylor's birthday, which I had never done before and it was a lot of fun. We also went to the California Adventure Park, I have been to Disneyland quite a few times through out my life but always for just one day it was nice to get an extra day and not feel like we had to hurry to see everything. The weather was great not to hot not to cold and it wasn't super busy. It was so much fun to get to go on the rides and we switched off with Steve and Linda taking the smaller kids so we could all get in some adult rides. I know Lauren probably won't remember this trip but it was a lot of fun!
