I had an enrichment meeting last night and decided to try some new things for refreshments and thought I would pass along the information because they turned out really yummy!
For the drink I made the Starbucks apple cider (thanks Mike for telling me how to make it!!!) It is really simple.
First you buy the cinnamon dulce syrup from Starbucks. Then you heat up apple juice then add 4 pumps (1 Tbs) of syrup to every 2 cups of hot apple juice. Top with whipping cream and drizzle with caramel topping. ( I added a drizzle of caramel to the drink before adding the whipped topping, just to make it a little sweeter.) I haven't had the Starbucks one for a while but everyone said this tasted even better than Starbucks.

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAN Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 eggs
1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup cold butter or margarine
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup chopped pecans
I should mention that I have a box of apples that I was trying to use up and that is why I went on the apple kick, but as you can see I didn't use any fresh apples...

Hey rachel, I was thinking of doing this for thanksgiving- but how do you get the starbucks syrup? Do they sell it there? I tried at a starbucks inside a grocery store and they didn't have it .
Thanks!
I had to call a few Starbucks to find one that had some for sale. It is called Cinnamon Dolce syrup.
