Happy Canadian Thanksgiving !

I have to admit it is a little weird for me to have Thanksgiving before Halloween, but none the less we had a wonderful day! The Fairbanks invited us over to celebrate Thanksgiving with them (I was very grateful because I haven't ever had to cook my own turkey and Wes wasn't to keen on being my guinea pig. ) I spent the morning making cute turkey bows for the little girls and little shirts with ties for the boys. My contribution to dinner was the green bean casserole, I guess it is more of a US thing and I was happy to share! We had a great time visiting and stuffing ourselves with delicious turkey and all of the fixings and topping it all off with pumpkin pie!

I am so thankful for the friends I have made here, I honestly love it here and know this is where we need to be right now. I am grateful for our family and for the love and support they give to us. I am thankful that Wes' Dad (Walter) is recovering well from his surgery and I hope that he will continue to heal quickly. I am so thankful for my husband and all of the hard work he does to support us. I can't imagine my life with out Lauren, she truly is such a blessing and I love being able to spend every day with her.
