One of those days!

Have you ever had one of those days where what ever you do doesn't go quite right? Lately things have been going really smoothly, but this afternoon it seemed like nothing is going right.

My Mom mailed me up a package UPS that was suppose to get here Friday because it had stuff for my Super Saturday crafts that I was suppose to have out on Sunday, well here we are at Tuesday and I still don't have the package. I have called UPS twice a day for the past 2 days and I keep getting the answer that it will be delivered before 7:00pm, well I checked the status and it was checked back in to the delivery center at 3:30, so they are trying to find the package and figure out what is going on (this is the second time UPS has done this to us!)

Then I have been waiting for my Permanent Resident card to arrive which was suppose to take 4-6 weeks and we are on week 8 now so I called to find out what was going on and was told that my file had been suspended on August 27th but there was no information on why. So now I have to make phone calls to find out what is going on with that. I need to get the card so I can get my SIN and to keep my health insurance here. My visitor visa expires on October 15th, I think I may have enough documentation to keep the insurance but I can not fly with out my actual card, not that I plan on flying any time soon but it is nice to be able to if there is an emergency or something.

I guess things could be lots worse but it is frustrating to spend hours trying to figure out things that shouldn't be this difficult.

On a positive note we had a good morning, Lauren and I took Gram to her cardiology appointment and I was on time and actually a few minutes early to the appointment and Lauren was really good in the waiting room. Then Gram treated us to a yummy lunch. It was nice to spend some time with Gram!
