Montana Trip

Alright I should really stop blogging and get working on cleaning the house and getting ready for my meeting tonight (anyone have any ideas for Super Saturday crafts?) But I really want to get caught up...

Friday I went down to Great Falls Montana with Linda (Wes' Aunt) and her girls for a baby blessing and shopping spree. While I was getting ready Lauren was hauling around our suitcase and it fell on her foot. Luckily I had let her open her Birthday present from Great Gma and Gpa Farrer and it had an adorable cuddly giraffe and a dinosaur that has an ice pack in it. So we iced her foot and put band-aids all over and she got better quickly.
We started out our shopping day with a power breakfast, alright maybe it was just the continental breakfast from the hotel but it was full of sugar which gave us lots of energy.

Here are the girls taking a break from the shopping. I wish I would have taken a picture of the stoller with all of the bags on it, let's just say it is a good thing we had a stroller or our arms would have really hurt!
Don't worry we still did some more shopping after this to make sure we had properly filled the trunk.

It was so nice to get to shop at some of my favorite stores, I really scored at Ross and found a dress, skirt, jeans, new bag, and some outfits for Lauren all really cheap!!! Thank-you Linda for letting me tag along, it was so much fun and I really enjoyed our drive time and the great conversation.

I have an idea for Super Saturday. I was just talking with a friend about the stress of Christmas and we were discussing ways to have a "Christ Centered Christmas". Anyhow maybe a class on traditions people do to bring the Spirit of Christmas. For instance, my mother in law always puts an envelope on the tree for her husband and in it is a service she did in his name. It's something that is specifically special to him. Jess and I are going to take this a step further this year and all the sibings in his family are going to do a service in each others names and write about them and put them in a book for his dad. Anyhow, I'd like to learn other ideas people have.

Yay for shopping! And that dinosaur (right?) ice pack is awesome. I've never seen one like that.
