One of my friends was selling her daughters toddler bed and offered it to me and so I bought it. I had put very little thought into when I was going to move Lauren in to a toddler bed and thought I would keep it in the garage for a few months and then set it up but it was too cute to put in the garage so I set it up in the living room and then decided to give it a try so I moved it into Lauren's room. We practiced getting in and out of it and I made her ask me permission to get out before she got down and then that night I laid her down in it. I stayed with her to make sure she didn't get out and she stayed in it all night. In the morning she called for me and when I went in there she was still in her bed. We are on day 4 of the toddler bed and loving it. Now I guess I should take down the crib, I have to admit it makes me a little sad to think she isn't in a crib anymore. I have a toddler now not a baby, time flies so fast!

What a sweet girl. It is hard! I moved Spencer to the big boy car seat and I almost started crying!! What is my deal?
it is kind of sad, they look so grown up once they are in the bed. Now you just need a new baby to use the crib again! :)
soooo...I could totally make a comment about it being time to have another baby then... but I'm not gonna. I think it's great though that you got her to stay in it the first night and ask you permission before getting out. That didn't work so much for Keller but he is getting better.
