Random Stuff

Here are some pictures from the past few days...

We went for a drive on Friday, Wes wanted to show me Cochrane and then we drove to Bragg Creek. It was a really gorgeous area!
The weather was pretty bad that day, and it hailed so much it looked like it had snowed, I was amazed that hail could stay on the ground that long in the middle of July!!!!

Lauren has to be in the middle of my cooking lately. She insists on sitting on the counter when ever I am in the kitchen and loves to stir or dump things for me, see the nice mess next to her, that is what happens when she dumps flour into a bowl! (Needless to say it makes measuring a bit harder, but makes her very happy)

Anyone want to buy a Honda Accord? Wes is back to his car buying and selling yet again...

Monday Lauren had a play date with Cohen Pratt, alright maybe it was more of a mommy play date but Lauren still had lots of fun!

We went to the park and Lauren met a new friend, while Lindsay, Cohen and I cooked in the sun, it was hot!!!

Lauren "playing" with Cohen. She actually did really well with him, I was glad to see her interacting so well with a baby. (Isn't he adorable!)

Lindsay made us a delicious lunch with a homemade Lime Sorbet for dessert, Lauren stole Cohen's seat to eat her dessert. We had a great time and I really enjoyed getting to know Lindsay better!

Monday night we went to the Olive Grove for 1/2 price pizza with a few families from the ward, it was yummy and Wes actually made it there before we left which was wonderful! I was very happy to not have to cook, it was the first time that I really missed having an air conditioner, it was 82 F in the house and 87 F outside.

Luckily it has cooled down a ton today. This morning we went for a run and then Lauren played at the playground then we got followed home by a very large dog, that kept licking it's lips when it looked at Chloe, so I put her in the jogging stroller with Lauren.
