My friend and I were talking today about how great it is to be able to stay at home with our children and to get to go and do fun things with them. I ran across this quote and I love it!!!!
PRIORITIES
I hope my children look back on today,
And see a Mother who had time to play!
Children grow up while you’re not looking,
There’ll be years ahead for cleaning and cooking,
So quiet now, cobwebs; dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby, and babies don’t keep.

Sometimes life gets so busy that you start to feel like it is a burden to stop and do things with your kids. There is always something that needs to be cleaned, a load of laundry to do, a phone call to make, a blog to catch up on but our children really are what life is all about and every moment with them counts. I hope that Lauren will think of me as a Mom that stops and plays with her! And as for the cobwebs and cleaning, they will have to continue to wait, sorry Wes...

Go Rach!!!
Thank you so much for making me feel better about the fact that my house is covered in dust and dirt and unpacked luggage... All because I have been busy rocking a baby and not feeling horribly guilty about it.
I love that poem, it's been one of my favs for years! PS I think I posted using my husbands acct on your last post, for the record it was me.
