I broke down and bought a season pass to the zoo, I figured I will go at least 2 times and that is the same price as the pass. The last time we were there I felt rushed like I needed to see everything and it is a huge place, so when Lauren got tired and was ready to leave before we finished I was bummed. This time was awesome, I didn't feel like I had to get to every area and we had a great time!!!! We walked through and spent time watching the monkeys and elephants and then had a great picnic with the peacocks. Then meandered through some of the other areas until Lauren was worn out and then we headed home, I really like the Calgary Zoo and am looking forward to our future visits there!

Lauren is really into elephants lately and was mesmerized by the mommy, daddy and baby elephant.
Random bird came to check us out while we were having our picnic in the garden, someone said it was a Pea Hen, it was quite ugly...
Peacock and 3 babies joined us for our lunch. Lauren was nice and shared her grapes.

Looks like Lauren had fun at the zoo and it is smart to get the season pass. I need to get one for the Tucson zoo.
