Crafty

I have had a major itch to do some crafty things and finally did a few of the things on my list...

I made my first "I Spy" bag for Bridge a little boy in our ward who had a birthday party today. It looked pretty straight forward and with it only being my 2nd time sewing with out having help I think it turned out alright. I did have to pull out the stitches more than once and I will change some things the next time I do one but all in all it was a fun experience. I can't wait to make one for Lauren she kept picking his up and playing with it.

I also made a tutu for his sister Kyanne who loves to dress-up. I tried a new way of doing the tutu this time which was lots faster. I also wrapped the waist with ribbon, which I think is a huge improvement (sorry to those of you who got one pre-ribbon!!!) I made a matching set of bows to go with it.

Well I thought that making some stuff would fix my itch to be crafty but no, I still want to do more... I am thinking a crayon roll next? Any other easy ideas???

Tonight I got to look more closely at the "I spy" bean bag. I love that you put BRIGEY's name to be found. That and the tutu were such sweet gifts. The kind that they'll keep forever and just love. Thanks so much, I just love them and so do the kids. :)

WOW you crafy maniac! SO cute! Homemade birthday gifts...you're definitely invited to Cohen's birthday party. Haha. A quick trip to Fort Mac would be fun, right?

Very cute! The tutu looks so pretty with the ribbon on it. I have the "I Spy" bag on my craft list too. Now I know who to call when I need help making it.
